Video of my successful Lasik eye surgery. I was 26 when I did this. No pain, no halo, no complications. I now have 20/20 vision.

ive been wearing contacts for 10years now and am dying to have this surgery done, but hesitant because im worried about its long term effects, maybe in a decade we would have a definite answer? but then again whats the point of waiting 10years i would be in my 30s then

My procedure was done in August of ‘08, unlike most people I did experience some pain during the surgery, but it was bearable, nothing too severe.
I still don’t have perfect vision, but I was told beforehand that 20/20 vision cannot be guaranteed, and my eyes are good enough that I have no trouble with them during the day. Night vision is still poor, but again, that was something I was warned about beforehand.
I’m very pleased with how things turned out for me.

i am not afraid of the eventual pain or inconvenience of this procedure. i am afraid that i might loose focus and stray away from the laser point. what if i loose my concentration for a second and turn away from the laser, would that lead to immediate blindness? thankful for answers.

Tell me this, have you ever used an old pair of glasses and had any problems? Eye doctors fill your head with nonsense saying they damage your eyes, yet they can’t even prove that. Only way possible is if you strain your eyes. I’ve had the same RX for over 10 years and I ain’t never changing. Glasses are crutches and so is LASIK.

Lol, this is why the optometry field is filled with bs, You guys spend $3000 for a doctor to poke you with a laser to fix the symptoms but not the problem, and you wonder why your eyes get worse all the time. Eye glasses and stronger rxs do NOT help. They actually harm your eyes more than anything.

Id love to have good vision but if im honest but i’m too scared.. once i went to have contacts fitted and ended up cowering in the corner. I just cant stand people messing with my eyes. If they could put me to sleep and do it that might work – but i guess you need to look at the light right? Great video by the way.

I don’t really mind using contacts and glasses but I might have to get this if I want to join the air-force(security forces not to be a pilot). At least that’s what my recruiter told me.

Thinking about getting this done, when in to get glasses about 4 months back ,eye doctor looked at me and told me i had horrible vision haha.
